I never said I wanted it to be the same, just more similarities. No need to be so rude bro.

!!! UNKNOWN CONTENT TYPE !!!

Besides this and a few other people, I've had a rather fine first FP'd experience.

Ah TobyTheSandwhich, I don't engage him at all anymore and either ignore or, if appropriate, dismiss. Dude is as rude as he is stubbornly ignorant.

Replace "New Age" With "Front Page", and you've got it!

joke aside, sometimes it can be like that... I read, and try not to comment too much!

I do believe he missed the point. You were looking for cars with the widest gap between concept and production, correct? It does not look like you were whining that concepts never go into full production.

Gonna find a bunch of near-as-makes-no-difference concept-to-production cars and post them there.

In order to accomplish this, we strongly discourage people from making posts attacking other commenters or communities, starting inter-forum pissing contests, and purposefully picking fights with people you don't get along with.

I understand how you could be frustrated with Toby's response. But creating a separate post, just to vent regarding one person and how they disagreed with you seems to be a bit... well, uncalled for. As well as explicitly outlined in the handbook.

I wasn't attacking him, picking a fight, or purposely starting any pissing contests though. I was just showing Oppo the comment. I see posts like this all the time, so I didn't think it was wrong.

I mean, do what you want with it, but I don't see anything wrong with what I did.

I've been insanely busy at work the last few months. So, I haven't been around much recently. But I try to dissuade these types of posts whenever possible. I don't want to provide the opening for disagreements in one post to spill over to disagreements that suddenly involve others.

My worry is that these have historically been used as "call to arms" posts where other comments pile on to prove the OPs point. That is specifically the behavior I want to avoid in cases like this.
